What is Kijani Farm

Kijani Farm is a gospel-centered community development ministry in southern Kenya. Our mission is to inspire hope and create opportunity for the Maasai communities who have been denied basic resources for healthy living in the past. The vision of our ministry is to see the first generation of a thousand generations come to know Jesus as Savior and Lord.

To be effective in our calling, we serve the Maasai people by providing clean water, access to medical help, educational resources, job training, and most importantly the chance to hear about Jesus' Gospel news. These areas of focus create the framework of Kijani Farm to help without creating dependency. 

Kijani Farm is an intimate ministry that is going an inch wide and a mile deep into the Maasai community, investing heavily into the people. None of this would be possible without those who generously give, and the relationship with our donors is essential to generational transformation.

  • EDUCATION

    Developing early child education is currently being done through 4 primary schools, feeding programs, and literacy programs.

    Students that have worked hard and scored well in secondary school are sponsored by generous donors in order to attend university and achieve their dreams. We currently have seventeen students in this program and are looking forward to helping more in our community.

  • FAITH

    We believe the primary reason Kijani Farm exists is to share God’s love with the Maasai people. Weekly men's and women’s bible studies, discipling through work, and supporting local pastors are a few ways we actively share the Gospel.

    Living daily life in community also allows us to build relationships that will one day lead to faith in Jesus Christ. 

  • WORK

    Hire 2 Disciple is a training program that recruits young adults to learn marketable skills. We currently train in construction, welding, and hospitality with hopes for more opportunities in the future.

    Daily discipleship is incorporated with work and a cup of chai (tea). 

  • WATER

    Our Community Water Project (CWP) provides access to clean water for families in our community. Kijani Farm’s bore hole produces 24,000 liters of water an hour, so there’s plenty to share! 

    Because of consistent access to water we have also began to develop our agriculture projects with the hope of supporting our feeding program.

  • Healthcare

    We care for the health needs of the community through short-term medical teams and transportation to Kenyan hospitals. 

    In fall of 2026 we plan to launch a level - 2 community clinic that will give provide affordable and accessible healthcare to our neighbors.
